Please ensure that you have read our Terms and Conditions before booking your appointment
By asking Better Price Windscreens™ to work on your vehicle you agree to the following:
1. Our contract with you is formed at the time of you making your appointment with us. Not all of the terms set out below are duplicated on the sales document that you (or your representative) will be asked to sign when we attend your vehicle.
2. Please note we obtain the latest information submitted to us by insurers to confirm that our work may be paid for under your insurance policy. We may contact your insurer directly to verify the nature and scope of your insurance cover. You acknowledge that Better Price Windscreens™ is not responsible for the extent of your policy cover or its conditions (such as excess payable).
3. During the process of a repair, glass may crack beyond repair through no fault of our technician. You acknowledge and accept this risk. Should this happen we may offer a glass replacement. If you choose to proceed with the replacement please be aware that additional costs will be involved.
4. You are responsible to pay the full cost for the service we provide to you. Payments will be requested upfront on the day of appointment. We do not accept part payments.
5. A record of visible damage existing on your vehicle will be made by our technician before starting work on your vehicle. We are not liable to repair any damage existing before we began to work on your vehicle.
6. We reserve the right to cancel or change an appointment at anytime.
Please note you will be given prior notice within good time for all appointment changes.
7.We are unable to install a replacement windscreen on damaged or corroded metal. If we find your vehicle to be unsuitable, we will stop work and discuss other options.
8. You authorise us to remove your damaged vehicle glass as waste for appropriate disposal (recycling).
9. Please note Better Price Windscreens™ are not liable for any rare incidents of personal injury that you could incur during or following our glass installations. We advise all customers to fully valet their car after every glass repair or installation.
10. Vehicles with an ADAS camera, Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), or Automated Emergency Braking (AEB), or other functionality where the vehicle takes corrective action while you are driving may require recalibration following a windscreen replacement. Before making an appointment, please contact us to discuss whether recalibration is required for your vehicle. Where we are not able to effect calibration following completion of a windscreen replacement, you may arrange for your vehicle’s camera to be recalibrated at your own cost, by an alternative vehicle dealership.
11. All customer information is collected, stored and disposed of in accordance to GDPR standards and Data Protection Act 2018. Your personal details are not unlawfully shared.
